The remarkable part of jasmonate science is how many questions a plant signal can open. Our job is to make those questions easier to study, with the original experiment close enough to check.
Jasmonate.com is an educational publishing project from Jersey Publishers LLC, led by Nick. We publish original reading guides, records and software. We are not a laboratory, medical service, university or cancer charity, and we do not claim to have conducted the experiments we cover.
A claim travels with its model
We name the material tested, the biological system, the measured endpoint and the comparison. Jasmonic acid, methyl jasmonate, jasmonate-responsive plant material and purified plant metabolites are distinct materials. A cultured-cell finding, an animal endpoint and a human clinical outcome answer different questions.
Our selected cancer papers do not establish that jasmonates prevent or treat cancer in people. Pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month expresses solidarity and our interest in careful research. It is not a clinical efficacy claim or an affiliation with a cancer organization.
Primary sources before a compelling headline
Articles link to the primary journal or indexed publication record where available. We distinguish reported results from interpretation and unresolved questions. We do not turn a numerical difference without statistical support into a demonstrated treatment effect, or a plant-production result into a benefit from consuming a plant.
Each research product identifies its scope. A selected reading list is not a systematic review, a complete literature search or a certification. Linked papers keep their own copyright and do not endorse our products. The downloads contain our original synthesis and tools, rather than copies of journal articles or figures.
Review depth is part of the evidence
Full-text checks and abstract checks are different. Source registries in the downloads label access and review depth; an abstract-level reading cannot resolve details hidden in a paper. We retain source locations for extracted comparisons and state when an endpoint, uncertainty estimate or methodological detail has not been extracted.
The cancer reading room and current products were prepared or reviewed on October 5, 2026. The source record names known limitations, including misidentified cell models and an unresolved wording conflict in a 2024 abstract. Publication dates remain attached to articles. New evidence can change a reading.
A calculator describes the comparison
The free widget calculates a relative difference between compatible measurements. Its study examples preserve their own setting, sample statement and limits. It is not a predictive crop model, dose recommendation, clinical calculator or proof of causation. Your entered values stay on your device.
Our commercial interests are visible
Jersey Publishers sells the original digital products linked beside the articles. A product recommendation is therefore our own commercial offer. Prices, contents, format, requirements, free previews and overlap with the garden bundle appear on each product page. Public articles and primary-source links remain free.
Support the Page is optional creator support for educational publishing and website upkeep. Its sole download is Nick's thank-you note. It is not a charitable donation, tax-deductible receipt, clinical trial contribution or promise of laboratory research funding.
